Chrysanthemum Yellow Button Pompon
Buttons Pompom is small globe shaped flower with tightly packed petals. Similar to irregular incurve but tend to be more open and smaller. Chrysanthemum blooms come in a huge variety of sizes and shapes and in a wide range of colors. Other than its traditional yellow color, there are also other colors such as purple, lavender, pink, burgundy, bronze, white and red color. The mum blossom is actually a collection of hundreds of flowers. Each white petal is a ray flower. Each tiny, orange bump in the center of the flower is the top of a disk flower. Each of the many ray and disk flowers bears a regular blossom’s male and female parts.

Marigolds have daisy-like or double, carnation-like flowerheads and are produced singly or in clusters. These flowers are the spendthrifts among annuals, showing a wealth of gold, copper, and brass into our summer and autumn gardens. The flower’s popularity probably derives in part from its ability to bloom brightly all summer long. Marigolds have been stereotyped but they offer tremendous variety; some have fantastic aroma; all marigolds are good in containers and provide long-lasting cut flowers.
